Hello, it is lovely to meet you!

As with many practitioners, my journey began with a need to heal myself.  I started with very depleted adrenal glands from high stress levels combined with anxiety and depression. I transformed my suffering through curiosity. I wanted to know what caused these problems in my family and in myself. I was determined to heal myself and share what I learned to help others.  I found the information, experiences, and help I needed through my studies and with the help of professional healers in my own life.

I received chiropractic care, acupuncture, experiential psychotherapy, hypnosis, craniosacral therapy, prayer and inner healing ministry. I used herbal medicines, nutrition, homeopathic flower essences, essential oils, and emotional freedom technique. I believe we each choose to heal our lives, and we choose how much healing we are willing to let in.  I know from my experiences, I couldn’t heal myself by myself–I needed the help of others.  I chose to study Chinese Medicine so that I could become a source of help to others.

I have formal education in psychology, nutrition, and Oriental Medicine.  I attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (UWM) where I received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology through the school of letters and sciences.  I went on to study at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine where I received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and a masters degree in Oriental Medicine. I have also done training in life coaching, law of attraction coaching, hypnosis, craniosacral therapy, and Dynamic Body Balancing.  It is my desire to use my education and life experience in practical ways to help my patients get real; practical results.

When I was hurting, I needed something that worked, not just a theory.  I chose to study Chinese Medicine because of the amazing results it has been achieving for thousands of years—it works.  The methods or modalities I use to help people heal include acupuncture and electroacupuncture, hypnosis, sound healing –acupressure with tuning forks, acupressure/ reflexology, manual therapy including cupping and gua sha, light therapeutic touch (craniosacral therapy)  dietary therapy, whole food supplementation, botanical medicine (Chinese herbs), homeopathic flower essences, essential oils, and coaching along with emotional clearing.

I have come a long way.  I’m no longer depressed or anxious.  I no longer have that inner critic controlling my life with negative thoughts.  I don’t hurt all over, and I am able to sleep.  I’m still working on letting go of excessive body weight.  I continue to walk the path of healing.  I would love to meet you, hear your story, and walk with you on your journey to a more vibrant life.
